Qualcomm and Hugging Face Expand Partnership for Open, Developer-Driven AI

Qualcomm Technologies and Hugging Face are deepening their partnership to foster open and developer-centric AI solutions across the entire compute continuum, from edge devices to data centers. This expanded collaboration aims to unite Qualcomm's device-to-data center platforms with Hugging Face's extensive AI community, model ecosystem, and developer tools.

The partnership will concentrate on three key areas. Firstly, it will drive the adoption of open AI models by connecting Qualcomm Technologies' data center infrastructure with Hugging Face's AI storage infrastructure. Secondly, it will accelerate AI model deployment from edge devices to the cloud.

Finally, the collaboration will enable the orchestration of agentic AI across device and cloud environments powered by Qualcomm Technologies' products. This includes developing a Hugging Face Agent for hybrid orchestration of AI workloads, allowing intelligent agents to operate across on-device and cloud systems while dynamically balancing performance, cost, privacy, and latency.

This initiative is expected to help developers create more seamless hybrid AI experiences, where intelligence can flow fluidly between edge devices and data center infrastructure.
